Daily habits to center your mind

Start positive with morning affirmations, and unwind at night with meditation and calming breathwork. Small daily rituals create meaningful space to connect with yourself.

Available whenever you need to talk

When work or relationships feel heavy, or thoughts keep circling. Talk through your concerns with an AI mental coach to untangle thoughts and regain steady ground.

Evidence-based mental care

Drawing on approaches from CBT, ACT, and Adlerian psychology, including Socratic questioning, cognitive defusion, and task separation. Reflect on your thought patterns and build lifelong skills for everyday resilience.

Four conversation approaches and tips for getting started

Explore what each approach offers and how to respond. Choose a starting point that feels comfortable, at your own pace.

One question at a time, in your own words

Taking one question at a time can make it easier to sort through facts and thoughts. You do not have to explain everything at once. A few words or bullet points are welcome, and you can take time to think. It is okay to say “I’m not sure” or add more detail when you need to.

An example of Socratic questioning

  1. You

I feel like everyone dislikes me.

  2. Toru

What did you actually see or hear?

  3. You

    A colleague did not reply.

This fictional exchange shows a starting point for separating thoughts from facts. Questions and outcomes vary with each conversation.

CBT companion · Multiple techniques

Flexible dialogue

What you can explore
Explore options such as thought records, defusion, or boundaries based on what is troubling you, and try a technique you choose together.
Tips for the conversation
Share as much as you feel comfortable sharing. You can talk freely without a technique, or finish by resting without deciding on an action.
Talk with Kanae
ACT

Cognitive defusion

What you can explore
Practice viewing a persistent thought as an object or a word card, from a comfortable distance, without trying to erase it.
Tips for the conversation
Describe any sensations or sense of distance rather than debating whether the thought is true. It is okay if you cannot picture it, do not want to try, or notice no change. Thoughts and discomfort do not have to disappear.
Talk with Sora
CBT

Socratic questioning

What you can explore
Separate facts from interpretations and explore other possibilities through questions when assumptions or all-or-nothing thinking take over.
Tips for the conversation
Answer one question at a time with what you saw or heard, or another perspective that comes to mind. Share what you know; “I’m not sure” is an answer too.
Talk with Toru
Adlerian psychology

Task separation

What you can explore
Sort out the boundary between what you cannot decide alone, such as someone else’s reaction or opinion, and the responses or choices you can make.
Tips for the conversation
Explore one response you can choose at a time. This does not mean abandoning consideration for others or responsibilities you need to fulfill.
Talk with Daichi

Choose a starting point for what is on your mind

Each coach offers a non-medical self-care conversation with optional breathing and one question at a time. You can explore a small action; with Kanae, you can also finish by resting without choosing an action.

These are self-care tools, not medical services. If you are in danger or need urgent support, stop and contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
